Wiring Transmission Harness

I'm in the process of switching to a Howell setup, and so slowly removing all the unnecessary vac and wiring from the stock 85 setup.

Does anyone know what function this 4 > 3 wire harness heading to the tranny tunnel is accomplishing?

I've got Prosperos Wiring Diagram, which is generally pretty good, but it does seem to have this bit covered.

Ah yes, and perhaps also the 4X4 light through the Dana 300 .
