Can the tub/body be taken off in one piece? If so, on a scale of 1 to 10 how hard is it to take off? Thanks in advance.

Yes it can be taken off in one piece. I would say dificulty level is about a 6. Dificulty level of getting enough friends together at the same time to lift it off is 9. Unless the're beer drinkers and you offer free beer.

Pull the fenders, hood and front grill.
Remove the frame/body bolts.
Disconnect wiring, shifter/linkage, column, exhaust brackets, filler neck etc and lift the body tub off.
The worst part is removing the frame/body bolts, soak them well for a few days with a good penetrant such as KnockerLoose, PB Blaster or Kroil prior to removing them.

I have no friends! Kidding.

But I do have a shop crane and do most all my Jeep work myself. Tub removal is a 2 on the hard scale.
