Anyone running tube fenders. I've seen a couple of sets you can buy from Poison Spyders or Blue Torch. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

We had one member do a thread on welding up his own. Here it ishttp://www.jeep-cj.com/forums/f7/d-i-y-high-hood-tube-fender-build-3823/,

I'm going to build tube fenders for my CJ6 . I'm going to do them scratch, but I also have a hydraulic tubing bender lol.

I keep going back and forth on this also. I am afraid that in two years I will be tired of them and want stock again. Kind of like my one piece front end. People love to see it and I get asked alot of questions but I hate the damn thing now.

Yeah. I have a hydraulic bender as well. They don't look that hard to make...

Nowbody makes aluminum so I made some. Inner fenderwells. Love them. Don't have to worry about bumping trees now. Plus they cover the full width of the tires which the cops like.

That is my feelings with the CJ6 , I love the jeep for what she is, A CJ6 and everytime it is time to go out and do a major mod, I freeze up and walk away because I do not want to have to return it back to stock later.
Now with the 67 CJ5 , all things are possible, it holds no sentimental value to me at all and if someone bends up a set of tubes and does theirs, bend me a set also and I will do mine as modding that thing is just fun.
