ive got a chev 350 with a turbo 350 tranny. When I come in off the highway or when it's hot the tranny will start to make a rather loud squeal/chirping as im coming to a stop in gear. if I kick into neutral it goes away. it's working fine but it's really annoying. any ideas?

My guess would be the torque converter, but I'm by no means an expert. Sounds like a trip to a Transmission shop for an eval. The TH-350 and the GM Turbo 400 are fairly easy to rebuild with lots of how to stuff on the internet. Trouble shooting sounds calls fo someone with experience. Rod

something tells me I need a stall converter. bit too much motor
