Two words

Oh yea - I just had to pay GA 6 dollars on my visa! What a crock!

the thing about taxs that pisses me off the most is getting a return. the thought that I lent them money interest free for a year , in addition to the money I gave them for Hawaiian vacations for the wife and kids really annoys me. Preparing my tax return is fun really. It is kind of like a complex math problem crossed with a Sherlock homes mystery in a foreign language, Klingon maybe.:D

I could live without the annual rip off. I think I remember hearing on the radio the other day that we (in Georgia) finally passed the magic day of this year that we should have earned enough salary to cover our taxes for next year.

Whoopie! Only took a little over a quarter of the year to get there.......

I suppose I wouldn't mind paying them if I had any sort of control on where the money was spent. The current situation is kind of like me giving some unknown person elected by an "Off Roading Community" 1/3 of my Jeep CJ Upgrade Money to spend and they go out and buy a bunch of Toyota Land Cruiser parts. I don't want Land Cruiser parts. I don't have a Land Cruiser.

I hate GA.

I hate GA.

Ditto!

Forced to move down here when I was a kid by Dad (transfer for his work). Originally out of the hills in SC (go Tigers!).

Moved back up there three times so far and still, once again, here I am back in GA. Like taxes, can't win for losing!

While we have higher sales tax than Georgia, Washington State has no income tax, so you probably would come out ahead.

Consider relocating to South Eastern WA... Yakima, Pullman, Colfax, Spokane anywhere closer to Idaho and Oregon than closer to Olympia and Seattle.

Washington has no income tax and eastern WA could use more like-minded voters to counter the growing, evil socialist movement in Seattle.

Georgia abuses you. Eastern Washington would welcome you (unless you're anti-farmin', anti-gunnin', anti-horse-in' etc).

To be honest, I have really been considering Wyoming. Somewhere in the area that the plains meet the hills (a little west of Laramie). I like to hunt and Wyoming has just about any critter a man would want to put on a plate, and then some! Supposedly the least populated state in the Union - Bonus to me :D.

I'm just glad to be moving back to my home state- FLORIDA. Been a fish out of water for too long...

Still want to go see everywhere else though...

Me too. Still too much of this Country I haven't seen. Used to ride the geezer glide to a bunch of far away places every chance I got. The job has really put a damper on doing much of that the last few years.
