I finally got around to doing this project that has been on my plate.

The inverter is factory in a Pontiac vibe or Toyota matrix , mounted under the driver seat. The plug and power button are in the dash and pop right out.

Just need a standard 40 amp relay.

Eating is 115v 100w so its nothing crazy but can power a DVD player cell GPS laptop etc.

It's hard to tell in the pics but it is mounted about a half inch off the floor under my drivers seat. I river coated too make it resistant to water just in case I get caught doorless or topless in the rain.

Your only going to see maybe .08 amps at most. Ain't go'n to run much with that. Maybe a charger for a small cell-phone at best. Your not going to run any real sized 'puter with it.
I sure hope it's a true sine wave inverter. Not the cheaper square wave type--
Also-keep your engine run'n when using it.

I have been using it for a while now. I have the circuit wired to a relay that shuts off when the key is off.

It has enough oomph to recharge my laptop, with the laptop turned off obviously. That's all I really need it for.

I guess I can't use my margaritaville blender while on the road with the lower amperage.
