Warn vs. Ramsey

When I get back from Iraq i want to get an 8000 lb winch. Dont know much about Ramsey, compared to Warn.

IMO - this is a question that is just about like what brand of laptop is better or what brand of car is better. You ask this question to 10 different people and you'll get 10 different answers and horror stories.
I have owned both brands and have had no problems from either (as long as I used them as intended).
There are many brands of winches - some are just more well known then others!

I know that it will come down to personel prefernce, I just compared them online and the only thing I found was that the warn wieghs 18 pounds less then the ramsey model.
