What’s fair price?

Hey gang, I was wondering what a fair price would be for a np435. I have one and I’m trying to sell it. I bought a complete rebuild kit for it from Novak adaptors. Stripped it down, inspected everything, sandblasted the case, and re-assembled with new seals and bearings. I also bought the top plate rebuild kit as well. In addition, I bought and installed the Novak adaptor adaptor plate to adapt to Dana 20 Transfer Case , as well as swapped main shafts.

I’m looking to sell it and I’m just wondering what you guys on here would say fair price for it is. I know these are super durable and semi-popular transmissions in jeeps. Any help would be awesome.

I cant say what a fair price is, but I can offer my findings when I was searching for my 5-1 T19. The NP435 is much more readily found and was pushed by all the truck salvage yards I visited in my search, and were priced as low as $100 and as high as $400. CL is all over the place too, but $3-500 seems common. Yours has been freshened up and should factor into the final price. Novak sells rebuilt 435's for $1220 and $1680 with the necessary adapter/mounts ready to bolt into your Jeep. HTH

I did put an add up on CL and listed it for 500 obo and open to reasonable offers. I just didn’t know if that was to high or not.

I’m also interested in selling it on eBay, I just have no idea how to do the shipping calculations. I can strap it to a pallet at work and wrap it etc, I just don’t know how to calculate the shipping.
