My 80s southern roots. I met a very drunk and high Danny Joe Brown @ a recording studio off of starke lake in central Florida. Recording a new album and he had his driver taken him to a phone booth (yea a phone booth) to play a lick over the phone.
Good times!

Now that's an old one! I think I was 14 then lol
Oldie but still a goodie. "We're not gonna take it", "I want to rock" and "I'll never grow up", among others, blasting loud with the top and doors off is the only way to go.

Watching this video on the boat brings back the long lost days of running on the St Johns River. No speed limits. 100+ was easy... Water chimeing...
Not mine but close to my vector. Hydrostream...
Nothing but speed! Low water pickup and a jack plate.

Don’t take this personal, but to me that’s the kind of boat you have when you are young and dumb. At 100 mph and higher it’s real easy to get out of control in a split second. There are no brakes on a boat so :dung: happens fast. That and after a short time with the wind and noise get old. Just me. This is my buddy’s boat. Like all boats it’s a money pit, but he can afford it even at $6 a gallon for gas.

Nothing wrong with your thoughts and mine too now. That time was long ago. Almost forty years...

Crank in the jib, let the main sail out and cleat off the spinnaker because it is time for a full speed down wind run!
Yep, sailed for many years.
