It has the original I6, 5 speed manual tranny and I know nothing about transfer case and diffs..
If someone is reading this please send me a message about how to figure out these things and I will get it straight
In the spirit of the holidays and to make others envious of your stuff... post what you or your family got for your cj for xmas.

I have some time off between now and new years so I hope to finally install my headlight relay upgrade harness. I also picked up myself a cool jeep t-shirt at lucky brand.
I suspect I will receive some gift cards for rockauto and other jeep sites.

So far I got a military green Jerry can. Now I've got to find a place to mount it.

I think I'm going to get my CJ a brand new M1A to go to the shooting range with. It will look very good next to my M1 Garand,M1A and the CJ5 will look very good together.

My CJ is going to have a Very Merry Christmas:

Recovery gear: Shackles, hitch D-ring, straps
KC light guards
Lots of interior do-dads

Just picked up a pioneer tool set rack for it

Seat Heaters, yes you read that right. Actually, they are going to be a birthday present for my wife(new years eve b-day). Comfort is pretty high priority for her and some summer nights can get pretty cool so just trying to extend the usability of my jeep. Also, I'm excited to see how long I can extend the season comfortably going doorless. Yes, I have ulterior motives. No, this is not the only present she will recieve. She's turning 40 so its a big one.

Merry Christmas All!!!

Besides the M1A, mine is going to get a new redesigned tire carrier. Got some 2"x6" steel tubing today.

No that sounds like Santa is coming to town. My jeep is going to get a matco pneumatic u-joint driver

I'm working on making space in my garage so I can get the tub in there so I can start on the body work.

Best CJ addition I've seen yet!! Heck - an M1A makes everything better....... I'm just a sucker for walnut and steel. Post up a pic or two when you get yer hands on it...

My CJ got a 50' retractable air hose reel and an impact socket set..... its excited

Old girl needed new body bushings, so new Daystars with a 1" lift fell into her stocking this year.

Well 1 of my 2 xmass's down and my cj picked up a 50 dollar rockauto gift card

Thank you for giving Rob @ Willys Works the opportunity to help with old stock parts. I know he appreciates it.

Need to use some Evapo-Rust on that.

I got a couple of gift certificates. I'll be buying a lot of little things I need; fuel hose, u-joints, power steering hoses, etc. I have all of the Major components for my Custom CJ Truck. :chug:

I've seen that pedal, it's not as bad as it looks. Oil, geese on the upper part and largely surface rust on the bottom. Rod will never sell anything that is mechanically compromised. Finding the old ones that work is the trick.
