Nope it's not a Cj. But it is trying to sell my 2 current Cjs. After replacing the motor in the Laredo only to have the Craigslist replacement die a month later I'm ready to sell. Only for the fact I just don't feel like doing this again. I'm going to sell the 82 with it so someone else can swap the motor and sell all the parts off.

I found a really nice Cj for me. I have a guy who is really interested in both but you know how that goes. A lot of Craigslist flakes as well. I'm hoping to have the $3500 this weekend so I can show you all this beautiful Cj parked in my driveway. Wish me luck. :chug:

Very cool let know

Sorry to hear that. The one I was after sold last night. There's one other clean one near me yet but after that it's pretty bleak

more fish in the sea and cats in the woods. the universe will provide.

Craigslist. So far I've been offered a Caddie, Suzuki Quadzilla , Harley Sportster and a Ultralight Airplane. Guess I have to put "No Trades" in my next ad. :D

Except for guns........:D

They better bring a bunch of those for mine

Hey Pete. Ever thought about driving a ways too get one? I see good CJs down here for decent money all the time. Sure don' t have too worry too much about the rust issue either.

That's just a couple. There are a bunch more depending on how much more you want too spend. No matter what......Good Luck with your search. It's time for you too hit the jackpot.

Ya Pete you got several places to stay down here when your lookin

I appreciate the offers guys but I don't see myself making any trips soon. :)

Think your standards may be too high? Not all CJs come with hood scoops...:D

I've come to grips there may be some upgrades to do in the future. :D I do like the idea of a Texas Cj just for the fact you can make a killing off scrap metal from the bumpers and hunting platforms.:D :chug:

Patience Pete, patience.About the only advice I can give you. My wife enjoys getting out to the "wild" with me, but the dogs must come and the 8 is a tad small for 3 50-60lb dogs and two people. Being a blue oval kind of guy I set out looking for an older Bronco. It took over a year of looking at CL (and other sources) daily, but a clean all stock 91 was finally found . 95k and for $2200 no less. Good luck sir, your CJ is out there, just takes patience.

I concur. Patience is key. I'm looking for a specific boat right now in a certain age range and it is extremely frustrating. I know how hard it can be to have patience as I continuously search all types of ads from all over too ready to jump at a moments notice, but knowing just to calm down and it will come.

Ya, not until they get a better wall put up. I've seen it in remote locations and it's pathetic.
