Hey new on here, just bought a 80 CJ7 it's all stock and wanting to go with 33's on 15-10 wheels how much lift do I need to go?

IMO you need 4" to not rub the fenderwells.
You can get there anyway you want but I would keep the shackles as close to stock as you can.

4" lift and a 1" body lift would give you plenty of room. Or like old dog said just a 4" lift. And x2 on the shackles! Where you located Ejm?

2.5" springs with a 1" body lift. Be sure your wheels have minimum offset and the bump stops are extended to keep you out of the fenders. :D

Pay attention to the stroke of your chosen shocks so as not to bottom out or over extend them, this is your primary limiting factor on articulation.

From jasper indiana and not realy worried about articulation mainly just gonna drive on the road

Take a look at 32's. They might be a better fit for what you want without a lot of lift. Rod

Oh. I have two new 4" front lift springs laying around. I really want/need to go to 35s. My 33s have 90% tread left! I was going to offer the stuff but I'm in Texas.

Hmmm indeed?!?! Lemme know ! I also have some shackles and bushings in a box.
