the stickey at top says mine is a t 14 execpt for measurments as mine mesures 8 3/4 " and stickey says it should be 9 11/16" ?

can you post a picture? I can see if I can find it in my cj manual. Their are not alot of choiced on the 3 speeds...Have you ran a google search on the casting numbers on the Transmission ?

Sounds like a T-90 or maybe a T-86 . Do you have 2 posts on the left side of the tranny? If you have a column shift those posts are pivot points for the linkage, otherwise they aren't used.

1974 CJ should be a T-15 .
