Wheel base stretch?

Hi, I am doing a SOA lift on my 73cj and the Rough Stuff 8" spring perch has 3 holes for the spring bolt,+1",0,-1" . Is the 1 extra inch of wheelbase worth it? Any problems pop up from a 1" stretch? I have to buy a new drive shaft anyway so that's not an issue.
Would this increase or decrease wheel hop?

I did a 3" stretch on my jeep when I built a new frame. 1"in front and 2 in back. Couldn't tell the difference.

A lot can cause wheel hop but isn’t because of a properly done stretch. Could be shocks, too much power for the rear wheel, bushings, or suspension.

I have a friend that wheels without any shocks he does have occasional wheel hop he keeps saying he should add a set but he hasn’t in over 8 years.

I don’t see 1” making a difference. I added 20” to my 5 and I don’t foresee any issues doing so.
