The computer is a real god send for doing the jeep thing. You can get on here and what ever problem you are having someone else has already found a cure. My nearest city has a pop of 220 thousand. There is only a hand full of old time jeeps most tend to run newer stuff up here. I have a real book of knowledge fellow six hours away witch is a great help. So if a person was to a bucket list a jeep place were would that be? If one was to plan a holiday and do it with a jeep theme, what would be a must see stop?

Re: Were is Jeep heaven

That's easy-Moab, Utah. If you want to include a lot of Jeeps, add in Easter Jeep Safari!

Re: Were is Jeep heaven

Well that was about the shortest thread I've ever seen. Mods, you can close this one down.

Re: Were is Jeep heaven

Ohio - - Yep! I'd visit every junk yard I could find. I'd take a big truck and trailer, lots of cash..........Well, you get the idea. I've seen more Jeep stuff advertised and bought from that part of the country! I doubt if there is a junk yard in Texas that's ever seen an FC, not up there. Heck, you could probably buy 2 or 3 on any day. :D Rod

I like what you did there. :chug:

Re: Were is Jeep heaven

Ohio might have a bunch of parts, and I even know where a FC is, but, remember this is the "rust belt" and old jeeps show it.

Anza Borrego Desert draws many CJ's.
So does the Mojave.

I'd take a rusty old FC over no FC any day. :poke: Rod

Ok I give what is a FC?

To find this place, I just have to get a flat deck travel 2-4 days, buy some project jeeps . Pick up a FC and head home after stopping at the Rubicon and Ohio's meet. Honey pack your bags I got our holiday's planned. How about a must have stop at a shop or Jeep junk yard?

Re: Were is Jeep heaven

The Rubicon. ;)

After traveling all over California, a whole lot of people would have to move out of that state before I would call ANYWHERE in California heaven. :dung: Big government is the opposite of heaven. Utah is my vote. Just sayin'.

All of the so-cal deserts hold some amazing sights and treasures, some much harder to find than others but all worth the trip. :chug:

Big Bend National Park is a neat desert to explore. There is an old abandoned quick silver mine out there. Lots of miles of trails too. Last time I went was in my Cherokee.
