Hi all. I'm new to the forum and somewhat new to cj's. I'm rebuiliding a rusty 79 CJ7 . I have the frame painted and the suspension back on it. Now looking at replacing the old rotten brake lines. Seems all i have been able to find are kits in stainless. This is just going to be a driver type build and really don't want the extra expense of stainless lines. Does anyone offer a prebent line kit in regular steel?

I know I can get the hoses locally But I'm looking for the steel lines.

Ah, never seen anything but pre-bent stainless kits. If you want non-stainless you will have to make your own.

When I did my wifes truck I bought a roll of tubing and did them that way. I won't do that again. I was forever chasing leaks. You can go to orielly and get the lines already made up. Get a bender from harbor frieght.

Online tubing has prebent for our jeeps in regular and stainless. They even have fuel lines. You can buy from their site or on their ebay store. That is how i found them.

If he meant Inline Tube then yes they have them. And from what I've read with other peoples experiences is that they are more accurate line sets then Classic Tube is.

That is correct. I was typing on an Ipod. big thumbs.

Nice, was never able to find standard steel tubing kits for CJ's. Thanks for the link.
