I am getting the lift in the next week or two and need to pick out some tires. Trail riding would be the most off roading I would do for the most part. Hoping to get some 33's on my factory rims. Any suggestions on tires? Also, do you think 33's will fit? Thanks for any comment.

you gotta love that BDS warranty,
does this kit include the wider front leaves like the YJ uses?

Great looking Laredo . Where are you in NC? I have 33's on my CJ5 (no lift) and would think a 2.5 lift would fit them fine for trailing.

I am in Rockingham. Dropping my Jeep off at the shop and will have the work done Mon and Tue. Decided on the 2.5" BDS lift, 33" BFG Mud A/T's, and 1.5" spacers. Can't wait to see the transformation. Ever ride around URE? Looking to head up that way soon and could use some general info on milder trails and such. If applicable (to anyone) shoot me a pm or email. Would love to hear from you. danattherock@hotmail.com

Thanks Dan. I don't get that far from home in the CJ, but I'd love to see pics after the work is done. Please post them.

Let us know how it rides and some pics if you get the chance. I was looking at that same lift or the yj conversion.

Picking up my CJ in the morning, but will be a week or so before I can go anywhere. Got the wheel spacers along with 33" tires and BDS 2.5" lift. The guy said the front hubs won't fit the bolts on the spacers and the hubs needed to go to a machine shop to have holes (in hubs) made larger. Not holes, but the cylinder (hole) that the bolts go towards, where a lug wrench would fit. Not sure, I was at work when I got the call and it was hard to follow without seeing it. Anyway, sounds like I can get Jeep in morning and will be waiting on a call from the machine shop to tell me when the hubs are ready. Then I wonder if I will need to get them rechromed. I am not thrilled about it, but sounds like the only way the spacers will fit.

:) What seats do you have, I need a new pair and like the way those look. Do they recline. Be sure and send pics once you get it back.
