Two notes, I am glad it is not called a Scrambler (as a Scrambler owner), but any name would have been fine.

Secondly, the linked article mentions that a “wagon” long top was available eventually. Aftermarket long tops were indeed available, but no full top was available for the Scrambler from the factory.

Very true. My comment was specific to the US. The Alaska postal service got some in 1984 only. And there is one known world cab set up Scrambler intended for oversees that was never shipped out of the US. It is now in GA owned by a couple of friends of mine. Big time CJ people.

I think Gladiator is a better name for this vehicle anyway. With the king cab it just isn't really a scrambler looking vehicle

No issues. Thanks for pointing out my error/simplification without clarity.

Personally I would love a “world cab” version. The only full top I would personally run. But I don’t have a need for a back seat anymore (grown kids and all).
