Just finished priming the bottom and the firewall on our CJ7 , prepping it for a raptor liner type finish. Now it's time to find a windshield frame assembly for it.

Does anyone have a windshield assembly (windshield frame, glass, seals, wiper motor assembly, wiper arms) reasonably priced?

Or should I buy them all separately?

Thanks.

I've never seen a "kit" with the frame, glass, seals, wiper parts, etc all together. The Jeepster Man has a "kit" with the frame, seal for the glass, cowl seal, top channels (for a soft or bikini top), and screws, but no glass or wiper parts. I think it's an Omix kit: JeepsterMan

Other sources also have it (Jegs, Extreme Terrain, etc)

Then there are some great wiper linkage kits (minus the motor itself) such as the Crown part # 5453958KM. This has the linkage, wiper arms, bolts, gaskets, and even the blades. Available from numerous sources.

Then you'll need the motor, and the type depends on whether you have intermittent wipers or not. I upgraded mine to intermittent by adding the control box under the dash and a Ford switch, and swapping the 3-wire motor for the 4-wire version. Either one is on Amazon for about $35.

Thought maybe I'd provide some part numbers for the other components I mentioned. Omix # 19106.02 is for intermittent wipers and # 19106.01 is for regular wipers. The Ford switch (may be more available) is # 5758904. A good 3-wire motor is the A-Premium # APWIM0149 and their 4-wire motor is # ‎APWIM0148. The "black box" control module is # SF-3728007. No longer made, but some available here and there (salvage, eBay, etc). Another good option is the Ford part (AMC used Ford parts for this). Look for something in the '67-'77 year range for a Bronco or full size pickup. Wild Horses 4x4 SKU # 6326 is a good choice.

Omix anything is garbage and should not be used unless no other option is available
