Wire harness firewall seal

Does anyone know of a source for the seal on the harness on both side of the firewall?

I'm sure like most Jeep parts someone makes it or perhaps another vehicle will work with a slight modification.

Or does anyone know what type of foam rubber it is? I have the originals in pieces so I don't mind taking out the exacto knife and cutting one out.

If you are talking about on the right side of the battery, then I would think that an electronic parts house, Pep Boys, industrial supply or a hardware store might have something you could use along with using that Exacto Knife. I have covered a number of holes on my firewall also using whatever would work. I would also suggest adding that brush on electrical tape to make it air tight.

I know this is not the part you want but…

When we took ours apart to repair poor connections I used electrical duct seal. It's kind of like putty and can be formed by hand. It remains somewhat flexible after installation. Not as pretty, but worked great. You should be able to find in the electrical section of any large hardware or home improvement store. Also called "monkey poop"

After a few hours of searching, I was able to locate the seals.

It seems the ones used by Jeep, surprise, match GM. I ordered two at $1.90 a piece.

And I'm going to kind of piggyback your thread. Does anybody have a source for the plugs themselves?
