Just wanted to give a quick update of the status from this last weekend. Finally started the core work needed, not just whining about it!!
Aft portion of wire harness routed and hooked up.
21 gal fuel tank installed, wired, hooked up.
Tail lights installed.
Body finally bolted to frame.
Pipe welded inside oem roll bar for 3-point seatbelt upgrade.
Exhaust installed/welded.
Windshield wiper linkage installed, windshield installed.
All mechanical clutch linkage replaced/installed.
Brakes...another story, MC installed but blew rear seal, need to pull again.
Flaming river steering column fitted/installed.
Wrangler lower steering shaft installed.
Fenders and grill bolted on and together.
What is left:
Brake MC R&R
Remove 1 piece axleshafts, reinstall oem 2-piece stock setup to fix oil leak.
Install hood
Install dash and engine bay harness
R&R Fiberglass top/doors, paint and install.
Pull front brakes apart, de-rust, repack bearings etc.
I will add more photos as I do work. Also I will pull some older photos of the jeep prior to this build and actually prior to that build!!
Thanks,
Ed
