In all my years jeep'n I've never known anyone to run air shocks, so
I say get reg. shocks and save a lot of cash.
Remember I have never run air shocks so it's just my opion.

Air shocks are not known for their soft ride, they are generally thought of to increase load carrying ability. The problem with that scenario is your shock mounts weren't designed to carry said extra weight, here in lies the problem.
IMHO It's No Go.;)

i had a friend who had these in the rear of his camaro, and one rail road crossing later they deflated and never inflated again. dont waste your hard earned cash

Results 3/3 says no ...Thankx guyz.

Now what about installing Bj60 Leafsprings to CJ5 ?

IMHO a BJ60 is a thousand pounds heavier, to spring would beat you to death on a washboard road.:(

You got me I haven't tried that, but IMHO it's better to have many thin leaves, than fewer thick leaves.
