I'm sending a '74 cracked AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l block to the junk yard at the end of summer. I'm pretty sure it has the 12 counterweight crankshaft. Is it worth hanging on to? I have no idea how many miles the engine has, it came in my '76 CJ5 .

Same for the old cast iron mated manifolds (in good shape), think anyone will need them?

THanks

Yes. Hang onto that stuff. It's getting harder to find that old stuff. The crankshaft is a great candidate for a stroker build even if has to be turned.
