So it's been almost a week since getting my re-built T-15 back, and getting everything together and wholly it's like i have a whole new Jeep now!
Before It would grind all through 1st and 2nd, and pop out of gear (reverse) 2 times every time i backed up in my driveway...
None of that now, and i can actually see what my AMC 304 can do!
I've been trying to take her easy for the clutch break in...
Last night though, was driving home and at stop light next to a friend... Let the clutch out to put under pressure, but not enough to move it, reved it up and slid my foot off the clutch. floored first to 4500 rpms, 2nd to the same, and 3rd a little ways, decided not to push my luck on a speeding ticket... I was gone!
My friend says my front wheels came off the ground at the start.
I love my Jeep!
Really do need to stop that for more reasons than just the break in period... I just couldn't help it...
and thanks to all who have helped me along this far...
