Yj motor in CJ7

Trying to put 1990 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l in 1983 CJ7 . Anybody know where to find motor mounts?

You should be able to use the stock AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l CJ mounts.

Bolt holes on block don't match...... not even close

Motor is same. Bolt holes for motor mount are inverted. Mounts are totally differ t

Can you post some pics of what you are looking at? So you are saying you can't get the CJ mount to bolt to the motor?

Correct. Go anywhere and look at motor mounts for
'83 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l and '90 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l . I think YJ frame is wider

That is why I said to use CJ motor mounts
