Refilling my 1984 CJ7 Dana 300 transfer case and Dana 30 front diff. Looks like I need a GL4, NOT GL5 gear oil (75w90 or 80w90) to fill both (no Limited Slip additive). (Apparently if it is GL5 rated it has brass corrosive sulfer in it.) I cant seem to find any that isn't also GL5 rated...

I have a Dana 20 transfer case which I have been rebuilding. Just about got it all back together to find out I am missing the front output shaft spacer part # J0942112. Is there anybody on here that would have one for sale or can at least send me the measurements so I can get one made. Thanks

Can any of you more knowledgable mechanics POSITIVELY identify this Transfer case simply from the photograph? I "think" it is a Dana 20, but if i could be certain without removing the TC, It would be helpful. It is in a Jeep 1975 CJ5 V8, which i "think" is a 304, and which i "think" has a T150...

My t20 transfer case in my 79 CJ7 is worn and I'd like to rebuild it. I would also like to increase the gear ratio. Any pointers as to who to go to for the parts needed for this? I have an email into Novak, but am looking for other leads as well.
