identification
Identification is a psychological process whereby the individual assimilates an aspect, property, or attribute of the other and is transformed wholly or partially by the model that other provides. It is by means of a series of identifications that the personality is constituted and specified. The roots of the concept can be found in Freud's writings. The three most prominent concepts of identification as described by Freud are: primary identification, narcissistic (secondary) identification and partial (secondary) identification. While "in the psychoanalytic literature there is agreement that the core meaning of identification is simple – to be like or to become like another", it has also been adjudged '"the most perplexing clinical/theoretical area" in psychoanalysis'.
Can any of you more knowledgable mechanics POSITIVELY identify this Transfer case simply from the photograph? I "think" it is a Dana 20, but if i could be certain without removing the TC, It would be helpful. It is in a Jeep 1975 CJ5 V8, which i "think" is a 304, and which i "think" has a T150...

It's a center cap with a rebuilt 258 from a few years ago. I'm trying to determine if the used an OEM radiator during the rebuild.

Okay, this is what I know. On the transmission right above the oil pan is "K3240107X 6954 7113" there's a few other numbers printed on the transmission itself. I'll post those as well. But I believe this is one of the most relative numbers from what i'm googled.
On the main body, there's "80...

I have a CJ7. I think I have a T176 trans, given that the stick comes up at an angle and it’s a 4 speed with reverse down on the passenger side. It has a tag on the right side with the numbers
5359390
RHLK3
1142
Is this enough info to determine which trans I have?
Thanks
