‘85 CJ7 progress
I bought this Jeep during the pandemic and I’ve had to postpone working on it due to other projects popping up over the last few years. I splurged for a new aftermarket steel body due to endless rust and rot on the original. I’m back at it now and have been busy with the sand blasting and painting. This CJ has an unusual paint code of AD (bronze orange). It is most likely one of the Spring Special Jeeps that was built in early 1985, as it also has red piping trim on the seats.
I’m replacing the T-5 with a T-18 . Also, I’ve switched out the AMC20 for a Dana 44 .
