Are any of you running an 11" clutch in your CJ's? The flywheel I have is drilled for both 10.5" and 11" pressure plates. Rob at Willys Works ran one in a hot rod CJ he once had. It's been a bit of a hunt but low and behold parts are available to build one up. Why parts you might ask. It's all in the parts jumble that was a CJ5 and complete parts kits are impossible to find. Why? Well the pressure plate is for an AMC truck or Wagoneer. The friction plate is for a Ford, but not all Fords, it's 11" dia, with a 10 spline center with a 1 1/6" diameter shaft. Gotta be careful here, some swear that the shaft diameter is 1 1/8". The through out bearing is of the Ford square pinned variety. So, the question, "Is an 11" clutch worth all the trouble as compared to the common 10.5" clutch?
