Well for everyone here, i am restoring the trailer back to what it would have been in its glory days! just not the same original color, which if i am not mistaken, is Harvard Red, it will be Oak leaf brown, to match my cj with gold wheels, and gold pin striping. no stickers or special paint on this one! just oak leaf brown paint with pin striping. but i have some bodywork to do. it has dents (given) and some floor welds have broken. just re welding them. then POR 15ing the :dung: out of the bottom. then soda blasting the sides and hooks, hooks will be black and need to center the tailgate again. its a good bit of work but its worth it to save this little piece of history. and my other challenge, getting it ready for the 2012 Bantam Jeep Festival:cool: there will be tons of pictures of this restoration!

Guy Great News!!!

The Woman, Anita, Should be in Town, here in Avella PA, tomorrow. PM me or email me to get her info, she will only be here for about a week!

What's that trailer worth in decent cond? I have my eye on one and unsure the value, it is very solid and ready to use although not perfect by any stretch. Give me a range if you have a guess.
Thanks

Sas, ive seen ones in bad bad bad shape for 500.00 i would think about 800-1100

off of Anita, ii just got two cj fenders, she has so much, 4 MB grilles, 2 CJ2 /3a grilles, 1 Jeepster commando grille, 1 Cj 3B grille, early CJ5 grille, and later model cj grille. also truck grilles, and plenty of Jeepster grilles with the chrome! PM me if your interested in anything!! she has a heck of a lot!

Although this was an update page for the longest of times, the restoration is just about to start on this little TC-3.

That's the cool thing about a Bantam civilian trailer, it has a tailgate. It's the military units that had no gate, yes some were made by the Bantam trailer co. but are known as WW2 trailers and prized finds just like the civy Bantam.
I'm now an expert:rolleyes:, after spending all winter researching this while resoring my M100 trailer, yes it has no tailgate.
