Owners of International Scouts and Travelalls, as a rule, tend to be extremely brand loyal. Anthony had a Jeep, but when he ran out of room for his growing family he started to look for something different. He found this 1962 International Scout 80 sitting behind Route 66 Dog Haus in Flagstaff, Arizona, and was able to talk owner Gary McKelfresh out of the Binder in exchange for working on Gary’s Shelby Charger. (For those curious, Binder comes from the International’s heritage as tractors, where they were used to bind corn fields together during the harvest.)
