1971 CJ5 what to look for?

Going this saturday to look at a 71 CJ5 withh the v6. The guy is asking 1650 for it which seems fair. It has a fiberglass body runs good but electrical is incomplete. Sound like a fair price? What should I look for when inspecting it?

When I saw your title my first thought was backyard engineered electrical wiring but I guess from your description that the confusing wiring spaghetti is a given.

RUST RUST RUST RUST......and by the way RUST. I have lost so much enthusiasm for projects because of rust.
