Misc. Offset or backspacing on wheel for a CJ5

I have a 82 CJ5 with a 2 1/2" lift, the rims i have are really rusted inside and I cant keep the tire aired up. I tried cleaning and several products on line nothing seems to work.

My question is if i purchase some after market wheels 15x8 what offset or backspacing do i need to keep from rubbing. I'm running 31-10.50x15 tires

I have an '84 with 35/125R15 tires (about 12" wide) and 15x10 rims. My rims have a 3.77 backspacing and I have no rubbing at all. I do have a 4" suspension lift though. I believe for your setup, anything 3.75" - 4" should be fine.
