1976 CJ7 leaf spring bushing kits

I have decided the next thing I need to do on the old CJ7 is to replace all of the leaf spring bushings, shackles included. Is there any particular kits that some of you folks might recommend, and a specific manufacturer? I'm about to go blind looking them up on the internet . One contains this..the other that. Either not enough bushings or too many. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I would suggest the poly type, available at a local 4wd shop or a spring manufacturer. You can never have too many bushings, since they have many uses. There are two types of spring shackle bushings though, oem and aftermarket type. the oem type have a radius on one end and the aftermarket type are flat. With a length difference between front and rear spring shackle bushings.

I just got a whole kit made by Energy Suspension. Has everything in it that might possibly be replaced with polyurethane (sp?) when going at a CJ like I am; with the exception of engine mounts. Seem to be pretty good stuff and it came highly recommended. (The best way I have found to tell if something is good is by how many folks sell the exact same thing online. They aren't all wrong!)

If you have a pretty good internet connection, they have a catalog you can download that has it all sorted by application and it also explains the numbering system they use for their parts which is also helpful to me.
