My jeep after dropping it off for safety, the previous owner had added an interrupt switch to make it "harder to steal" it cut power to the ignition, but the switch he chose was underrated and the wire was not fused. the local garage attempted to start the jeep many, many..... many times with the switch off, eventually the switch melted, shorting a wire straight from the battery (+) post to ground, the wire cut right through the top of the battery and melted everything under the dash,
