1977 fuel filler neck??

Hey guys...as a lot of you know 77 was an oddball year for jeeps in regards to how they did the fuel system...the reproduction filler necks, vent hoses etc just don't work. I've tracked down the right filler and vent hoses through MTS. What I am finding is that my tank doesn't even work...way too much slant upwards on the vent and filler hose inlets. Fortunately looks like Quadratec carries a reproduction for 77 fuel tank now. My question though...does anyone know where to find the correct metal filler neck for my jeep? The reproductions that you find all have the slanted vent hose piece coming up out of it...unlike the original ones that actually had the vent hose nipple that comes straight up at 90 degrees. I don't know if this all makes sense...but I have spent the last 2 days trying to make what I've got work and simply can't. The vent hose I have been working with crimps because of the tight quarters. Anyway...if anyone out there knows what I'm talking about or has any advice...please let me know. I want to keep the body as original as I can so don't really want to convert to some other set up. Thanks as always...
