Guys help me out, I have never installed the soft top on my Jeep, went to install today and I must be Dumb  because I DEF couldn't get it on.

Please help, rain in the forecast for this weekend!!!

What kind of a top are you trying to put on? Is it a factory replacement or some kind of aftermarket?

Did the top come with hardware, bows and such or was it just skins? If no hardware included most likely it is a RAT (Replace-A-Top) replacement that requires all of the old skins to be removed from the frames. If the old top has been replaced before then most likely the skins are just Velcroed in place but if not just cut the fabric as needed. The material needs to be warm in order to install and setting it out in the sun helps but I imagine living in Florida as you do its plenty hot just leaving it out in the garage. (Hair dryers can be helpful too.) No matter what top you have there will be some hard tugging (not ripping) to get it into place for the first time.

If it is a factory replacement you will need all the factory hardware to install it. I think you need to take pics of what you have and we will see if we can help you get it on.
