Paint still didn't set properly. I used the tractor supply primer and paint. The mistake I made was using reducer in the primer. Big no no. I think it will be OK but may need a long time to cure. One week was not enough, when I apply pressure to the top coat the paint slides over the primer. I could be that during and after paint the cj sat in a garage, may not have been warm enough or too humid to cure properly. I'm going to give it 2 weeks out in the sun a hope that cures everything.

Anyways. All done for the most part. Just need to install the stereo, smittybuilt console and seats. Have new glass coming in also, I tried to pull the old glass to paint the windshield it cracked.





Also found a motor craft 2100 kit that should come in this week. Woohoo.

That paint looks great! I hope it sets up for you and you don't have to re-do it...

Yep, just let it set in the sun. It will eventually dry.
