I need help, with my clutch/brake pedal assembly. Mine is totally worn &'the brake pedal sticks up quite a few inches upwards from the floor. I have googled to find an assembly & they are all very used. Are there rebuild kits to fix up my existing unit or should I just replace the whole thing? Anyone know of any threads that explain how to do such a thing.
Thank you all,

If it's the same as an 81 CJ7 I have mine apart currently and could grab a couple pictures for you. I don't see what could wear out?

I have seen and purchased aftermarket replacement parts from the big box 4wd outfits for that assembly, so they are out there, but not in a kit form to my knowledge. Some of these items are modified from the oem configuration, and have been improved. You can just buy what you need.

Really not much to them. There is a big spring for the brake pedal and a couple of bearings on the shaft, IIRC. The bearings can be obtained from any local industrial supplier or bearing distributor. It's been a while since I rebuilt mine, as in a good 10+ years...
