Has anyone swapped their GM 151 engine for something else? If so, what did you go to. Also, if you did, what did you do for the clutch housing to meet up with Transfer Case ?

I have been researching the same thing. first of all if you still have the stock SR4Transmission you need to start there, IF going with a small block chevy, I am going with a SM465 as it is the easiest to swap to, it will require you to either get a bell housing from a S-10 for certain years or I think you can have your existing one machined to open up a hole. they make a kit to fit your Dana 300 to it and maintain your driveline lenght so you dont have to have drive shafts rebuilt.
