Hello forum friends!

Recently i discovered that i have a very small leak coming from what appears to be above the Transmission case..once i warm up and drive a few miles the light leak will start...
I took some video footage of the leak.

I checked my radiator before the drive today and there was no.real change in the water/coolant level..

What could be leaking above the tranny housing?
Thanks in advance
Lev

Head gasket, freeze plug, hairline crack head/block, or could be as simple as a heater hose leaking and coolant is traveling along the valve cover. Time to start crawling under/ all over with a good flashlight. Hope its an easy one ;)

Its a jeep. What would not leak after almost 40 years ? Hopefully nothing serious. Good luck !

When was the last time you replaced ALL hoses and checked the clamps?
Check the coolant temp sensor at the back of the head on the drivers side, I have seen them leak.

Ok...
I got under her tday and let the motor run...I saw the drip coming from right above the tranny housing..it pnly leaks one drop every 15 to 20 seconds....

Radiator was still pretty much full...

I took some video footage of the leak happening but i don't know how to attach it to my post...(for some reason it's not allowing me to)

Thanks again
Lev

The best way to post a video is on YouTube with a link to it in your post.
