Wow! Very nice and plush but very much NOT CJ. Someone did a great job installing your seating... :chug:

Who knows but they look like out of a Cherokee. My wife had a 96. But the back I don’t know or think they are.

Those are Yj seats. They came in quite a few different colors with that Jeep script on them. The risers are Cj. You could get forward fold front seats on both sides you just don't see it much.

Thanks.

How about the center console? Is that a CJ unit?

Nope, CJs never had a center console. A very nice addition.
Say what ? My buddies came with a center console, saddle bags, Larado stickers and many other items back in 84. Of course it was 50% more costly than my base model.

:chug:That was added by the dealer.

. Good post!

So every dealer that installed the same center console, which from what I have seen in over 40 years, they are all the same. So where did they order them from ? Jeep ? Saddle bags also. Even my soft top came in a box from the factory in the box. In my Jeep, on the truck. Dealer installed.

We worked with each other. I worked at a dealership and as the parts manager I made calls to the factory and other dealers all day. We traded.

There you go. Factory items installed at the dealership. :chug:

Yep, The Jeeps came in cosmaline (sp) and a big box of stuff to assemble. While some of us did the steam cleaneing (yea, a real steam cleaner - not a pressure washer) the others did the assembly. The longest cycle was waiting for the top to heat up so we could stretch it. Weird thing, some came with the top on and some not.
