I was thinking about going this rout because I am sick of the crappy carb on the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l and really want fuel injection. But now I'm leaning to putting Fuel Injection on my AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l . Fuel Air Spark has a new kit with everything you would need but air cleaner for 1769.99. Looks pretty sweet.

Someone mentioned I should my my 4.0 TPI a stoker. Did a search and found out about that. Looks like you get max tork at a lower rpm with the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l then the 4.0. Think I will wait for my 4.0 to need rebuilding for that. At this point am leaning on getting the wiring harness for the 4.0 and a new header and exhaust. I am having the rear axle rebuilt this week. It has a tooth missing on the ring and pinion. Then on the engine.
 
As long as it has a good warranty you should be ok.
