i've got a 1995 wrangler and found me a CJ7 hardtop!! now i'm tring to find out what doors would work with this combo. do i have to use 95 doors or can i use door off of a CJ7 . i have hard lowers that were on the 95 but the soft uppers are straight on the side that would meet the top and the top has a curve just above the door latch so i think they will not seal wright. could some one help me

The YJ and CJ7 hardtops are different, the rear liftgate is different. Because the CJ7 has a drop down tailgate and the YJ has a swing open tailgate the tops close differently. On a CJ7 it's drop down tailgate, hardtop liftgate, then the swing open tire carrier. On a YJ the hardtop liftgate closes first, then the swing open tailgate closes. I hope this makes sense.

The tops will interchange, because the tubs are the same size, but the liftgates in te back are deffinately different.

CJ7 's and 8's had the paddle style doors after 1981, CJ's never had factory half doors.

If you want to use your 1/2 steel doors with that top you'll need to get the uppers with the rounded corner for the right fit.

thanks for the quick replys. so if i was to use the half steel doors and uppers with the rounded corner could the uppers be from a model newer than a 1995 i've been looking on ebay at some and they look to be very close they were for a 97-06 model
thank you both for any info you provide also were would be a good place to buy seals for the top and doors?
