1983 cj7 , six cylinders , 5 speed , 2.5 inch skyjacker suspension lift , 2 inch body , 35 x 12.50 x 15's ,one piece axles , just bought this cj after PO stored for the past 25 yrs ,

Well, it's got the seven-slot grille.

Saturday we were at a traffic light when my sweetie noticed the rig in front of us and said, "That's a Jeep?" There are already a lot of Jeeps that have wandered far from the original model. I think we call that progress.

I don't like it. I'm not one to tell people what they should drive, but for me personally, if you don't have to pull a lever to put it into 4 wheel drive it isn't what I consider a Jeep in the true sense of the name. I have driven the 2013 Wrangler and it is a very nice vehicle, and I would love to have one for my every day driver. But to me they are still not the same.
