My wife, son and I made the short trip to Toledo Ohio this past saturday to the first Toledo Jeep fest. Was a pretty good time. We ended up missing the parade sadly, but saw everything in the convention center, which was pretty cool in itself. So here are some pictures from the trip.
We finally made it, and found a parking spot!
The red Jeep we parked next too, had some cool Mopar Jeep wheels I thought. Might have to research these for mine.
Anyway when you first walk in, you are greeted by a super cool, optioned out, farm jeep, owned my Omix ada.
Moving on, you find an old Jeep trencher!
behind that is a lifted XJ, that my son wanted to sit in, and found out he couldn't. Very upset 3 year old!
Moving on, one of my favorite YJ models besides the Sahara model, the islander. The factory wheels seemed to be replaced with Moab wheels, nice touch!
inside shot of the islander
Next to it, a super clean CJ5 , loved it!
inside shot
looks to be a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l for the motor
After that we had some concept vehicles, the one I loved out of all of them, I think its called the "shortcut" I think a better name for it would be the JK-5
After that is the much liked, trail cat Jeep, if you have to ask yourself why, I'm sorry..
Absolutely loved the diff covers!
Next is the comanche concept, I got a little video of it, heres some bed pictures of it
Here's another jeep truck concept that was there
cool little touch!
I found it odd, kids were just playing in it
Anyway, next came a cool flat fender
and who could forget this
and the super rare, "Super Jeep "
Next are the runabout Jeeps I'm gonna have when I'm rich (ha!)
And then a pair of some nice Forward Controls
My son really liked the Fire truck Jeeps also
