258 Mopar FI and 4.0 Head?

I have a relatively low mile Jasper AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l in my CJ7 . As part of my build project, I want to end up with a fuel injected engine. It just so happens that there is also a 4.0 long block (without the computer) in my garage.

Does anyone know if the Moper FI system and 4.0 head swap can both be installed? It would seem to me that they could, but thought I would ask.

Yes, everything will go together. I have the Mopar setup on my CJ already and a 4.0 head waiting to go on. Very popular conversion.

Yep. I got a 4.0 head back from the machine shop the other day. There are some water ports on the 4.0 head that'll need blocked off, as they don't have them on the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l .
