Thoughts? I'm considering doing the 4.0 conversion instead of rebuilding this one. Any recommendations on where to get one already built with the passages blocked off?

Note: evidently I am technically challenged as I can't get the photos to load here. Here is a link to them on my FB page: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.4317349306174.162951.1660256236&type=3I

also have pics of the block and the spark plugs posted. I lost oil pressure (pump is 3 mos old) and was hearing a knock from the lower end and the valve train was rattling something fierce. Thanks for any input!

smiley644.png, sorry man, just having a little fun at your expense. I can't see either of the pictures. It may be because the pics are from facebook, but I'm not 100% sure.

If oil pressure went suddenly, you might have spun a crankshaft or rod bearing.

Clattering and knocking sounds like a 4.0 transplant is in order.

If the bearing spins, you lose all top end oil pressure.
