3.8 buick to T150

all my swaps have been with small block chevys..advance or novak would probably be good places to research it

Has anyone done this swap wanting to use a 87 buick and mate it to a T-150 Transmission

:)Not a problem, but not sure what direction your going here or what year Jeep you have?..........is it the 3.8 motor you want in front of the T-150 or do you have a 3.8 already and want to use the T-150 ?????
Point is the T-150 is a pretty basic B&W 3-Speed that has very little swap value in my opinion but if it is already in place I understand.

In either case the T-150 can be used behind the 3.8 Buick..........check with Advanced Adapters.........there part # 712583 which is a Bell-housing that has multi bolt patterns to fit various transmissions...............just in case in the future you want a Granny Low T-18 4-speed in there at some later date. The T-150 also uses the Ford splined clutch disc...........check with those folks at AA they should be able to answer all your questions.

Thanks for the reply

The jeep is a 76 CJ5 . The T-150 is in place. I have the opptunity to buy this motor for next to nothing but am trying to figure if it would be cost efective. The motor is for a rear wheel drive, which is good but has no bellhousing. Unfortantly cant find one in a junk yard up here.
Just looking for driveable jeep for me and my boys.
