3 speed tranny stuck in gear

Hi all,
I just bought a 70 CJ5 with a buck v6. Upon taking it off of the flatbed truck I hired to deliver it to me, we noticed that the tranny was stuck in gear. It was in neutral when it was rolled onto the flatbed then put in gear on the trip to my house. Now, the shifter won't move. I was told by the previous owner that the clutch was bad. I want to get it into neutral to move it. Any advice?

is the driveline in a bind? did you have to drag it off of the rollback? can you shift the Transfer Case into neutral?

Yes to the 1st 2 questions and not sure about the Transfer Case . I put the car cover on it but will check that in the morning

see if you can't knock the Transfer Case into neutral. is the front hubs locked in?
